St. Croix · Hotels & ResortsChenay Bay ResortWhen it comes to a Caribbean vacation, one privately nestled island playground offers fun for everyoneClose enough to town, but still far enough away to enjoy paradise is the best way to describe this North Shore getaway
Located on the North Shore of St. Croix is a resort that you will find quaintly nestled on a lush green hillside facing the breathtakingly blue waters of the Carribean sea. The Chenay Bay Resort, as it is named, is protected by Green Cay National Wildlife Preserve and is surrounded by a tropical landscape featuring hibiscus, coconut palms, seagrapes and more. When it comes to location, Chenay Bay Resort is close enough to town and still secluded enough to enjoy the peaceful island lifestyle that one would expect from the Virgin Islands. The 30-acre resort sits only three miles from the town of Christiansted and is built on acreage that once occupied a sugar plantation in the early 1800s. Today, historic ruins can still be found on the property as a reminder of its rich history. The Chenay Bay Resort offers 50 cottages inspired by West Indian styles. Each features a private front porch within walking distance to the ocean and comes equipped with a kitchenette, air conditioning, modem access, cable television, clock radios, your choice of kind, double or twin beds and Rattan furnishings. Guests can also choose from oceanfront, ocean view or garden view cottages. Families or groups may wish to consider connecting cottages for the ultimate island gathering.
